Say I Love You The Creative Way

There are a lot of ways to say that you love someone. Sometimes it’s through words and sometimes it’s through deeds. In a world that is fast paced we sometimes forget to let our loved ones know how much we love them and sometimes it’s too late. Our parents, our children, spouses and friends all come and go from time to time in our lives and no one stays forever. We don’t know when life may decide to take them away from us in one chain of unavoidable circumstances. We have a lot to say to them but we think that they will be there always. Our parents die, our children grow up and start their own lives, and friends move on with their lives. We can’t hold on to them. Sometimes the moment slips and they can leave us with no good byes and us regret all our lives thinking ‘if only…if only I had one more opportunity to let him/her know how much they meant to me’.

So what should you do? Say what you have to say now. It’s that simple. No regrets in life that way. You can’t change what’s going to happen but we can change what we do about it. You don’t have to shower them with expensive gifts to express your love. Just a simple word or a kind deed filled with love would do.

Some find it embarrassing to say what they truly feel. It’s no big deal, no worries. There are ways to get around that. You can write to them. You can take your own sweet time and write down exactly what you feel about them. Or you can send them a little gift that express what you have to say.

Like you can go to one of those mugs printing places and get a mug printed with your picture and your loved one or with simple words like ‘daddy’s princess’, ‘my wife is awesome’ , ‘to the best mom ever’ etc. It may sound a little weird but trust me if you can’t say it out loud, writing it down is the best way. If you don’t want to do that just get a picture of you and the person you love and get it framed and give it to him/her. These can sound like old timers and old ideas but it works all the time.

There are tons of little things you can do if you just give it some thought. It all depends on who you want to say it to and their preferences. Take in to account what their personality is and their likes and dislikes. Some are not very open and doesn’t like overly lovely-dovey things but some adore them. Some likes you to show your love tangibly and some through little deeds.

It’s all up to you. The most important thing is that you let your loved ones know how much they mean to you.
